‘Stitches in Time’ is a collaborative project between the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Art and History and Limerick School of Art and Design – Limerick Institute of Technology (LSAD-LIT). On display are 12 garments designed and made by second year students of the BA (Hons) in Fashion Design at LSAD-LIT, inspired by uniforms and other artefacts on display in the Soldiers & Chiefs exhibition at Collins Barracks.
The work is currently on display until the end of October. It will then be exhibited in the Hunt Museum, Limerick in November as part of Design Week and Limerick City of Culture.
